Visit colourful Lisbon













Your short trip to the old city center of Lisbon is full of magnificient views. The one from Cacilhas over the river Tejo, is even considered 'the most beautiful view to Lisbon', we fully agree!
It will be difficult to find more charming ferry boats, than the typical Cacilheiros. During the 8 minutes trip enjoy the views to the river, to the both banks and the red 'ponto 25 de abril' bridge. Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets will join you in the early morning or later evening.
Arriving in Cais do Sodre you can immediatly walk into the old city center. Take the famous tram électrico' 28 to the Castle. Tram 15 leads you to the 'must see' Belém with their famous 'pasteis de nata' and the impressive monestry. For a nice day trip to the now fashionable old fishing villages Estoril and Cascais, you can take the 20 minute train ride here.
Endless beach of Costa da Caparica















The beautiful 25 km long sandy beach of Costa da Caparica is only a 15 minute drive away.
Enjoy a fresh cocktail or a delicious meal in one of the bars and restaurants on the promenade with a beautiful view over the ocean.
Or enjoy a day at the beach, paddling or diving through the wonderful summer waves of the Atlantic Ocean. And then wonderfully open-drying by the powerful sun.
Learn to surf in one of the local surf clubs. You will never forget the wonderful feeling of riding a first wave!
A long beach walk along the more and more deserted beaches makes you forget everything and just enjoy. Starfish, shark eggs and beautiful dunes accompany you.
Authentic Cacilhas and old Almada















Step out of the door here and the delicious smells of grilled sardines are already blowing towards you. In the 350 m long walking zone you will find a rich variety of authentic and modern restaurants and bars.
Walk along the Tagus and enjoy the beautiful views of Lisbon. Drink or eat something along the way in the romantic Ponte Final restaurant. After a small climb you arrive at the beautiful Casa de Cerca, an ancient farm that now serves as a museum and botanical garden. From the beautiful terrace you have a breathtaking view over Lisbon, Belém and the Red 'Ponte 24 de Abril' bridge.
A little further you come to old Almade with beautiful buildings, cute streets and nice shops: If you want to enjoy a nice concert, the converted cinema 'Ciné Incrivel' has a nice offer every weekend.
A little further, the world-famous Cristo Rei overlooks the entire area. At the 75 meter high foot of the statue you have a 360ª view over the meadow area.
The Mercado da Romeira, with various bars and restaurants in a charming environment, or a walk through the beautiful Parque da Paz park are also great recommendations.
Sintra, Arrabida, Setubal, Cascais ...














Sintra is an absolute must, and it is not for nothing that it has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit the colorful 'Palacio da Pena' at the top of the hill, the fairytale 'Quinta da Regaleira' or one of the other impressive palaces, located in the beautiful nature around the charming town.
The natural park 'Serra d'Arrabida' is also more than worth a visit. In addition to walking and cycling, a stand-up paddle tour is a unique way to admire the splendor of the area. The fish swim below you in the crystal clear water and on top of that the beautiful view of the magical beaches and the nature around it. To never forget!
The port city of Setubal has a very romantic center full of delicious restaurants with the local 'Choco Frito' as a specialty. The large 'azulejo' at the back of the local lively market hall is impressive. Or take the ferry boat to the Troia peninsula, with its endless beaches. You can view the local dolphin population via a boat excursion.
Cascais and Estoril are beautiful fashionable seaside resorts with beautiful bays and full of delicious restaurants. During stormy weather, a visit to the 'Boca de Inferno' is a point where the waves crash against the cliffs spectacularly.
